Larissa Jordan, TranquilOT Director, graduated from Southern Cross University in Coolangatta with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2020.
Larissa originally worked in Bundaberg in South East Queensland, assisting in the re-structure of an Occupational Therapy service within a private hospital. As a generalist Occupational Therapist she engaged with a large and variative caseload including NDIS pediatrics and adults, acute hand therapy, community home assessments, acute medical and orthopedics, and adult rehabilitation. Larissa then held a contracted position within the Transition Care Program (TCP) at Bundaberg hospital QLD Health. During her time at TCP, her work was focused on short term Rehabilitation to assist individuals to return home safely and re-gain their independence at home. Following her love for community rehabilitation, she persued a position in Bundaberg focusing her skills on Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and continues this position in Brisbane presently.
Larissa is a passionate therapist whom advocates for her clients needs and justice to participation opportunities, regardless of their ability or additional needs.
